Established in 2020, New Hampshire Democracy Fund is dedicated to strengthening the Granite State’s democratic institutions and ideals. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we invest in programs critical to supporting a vibrant, inclusive representative government.

We work closely with our grantees and partners to ensure their individual and collective success toward meeting defined goals.
Recent highlights include the funding of:

Organizing, research, and legal efforts to expand voter registration and vote-by-mail options during the pandemic;

Public awareness programs to ensure transparency as the Legislature drew electoral maps following the 2020 Census; and

Community organizing and leadership development programs to deepen civic and social engagement.

1938 - 2023
New Hampshire Democracy Fund was launched through the efforts of Dr. Geoffrey Clark who served as a founding board member and generously supported its mission. We mourn his passing and offer our deepest sympathies to his wife of 52 years, Sen. Martha Fuller Clark, his children, grandchildren, many close family members and dear friends.
We are committed to furthering Jeff’s vision for New Hampshire—a state where individual rights are upheld, democracy flourishes, and communities thrive.
